Italia Startup Visa is a strategic tool to attract talent and innovation to our country. The program promoted by the Ministry of Economic Development is aimed at entrepreneurs from non-EU countries who intend to start up a new innovative startup in Italy, individually or as a team, and offers the opportunity to apply for a one-year entry visa for self-employment in Italy through a fast and free digital procedure.
Over 500 applications have been received in the past few years from more than 50 different non-EU countries.
With the Startup Hub program, the applicability of the simplified procedure provided by Italia Startup Visa is extended to non-EU citizens who already have a regular residence permit in Italy and intend to stay in our country to establish an innovative startup.
